So I started using the “Ben Franklin Virtuous Life” program from The Art of Manliness Blog after about a month of procrastinating about it. It’s not really a big deal, I figure the least it could do is take up 30 seconds of my time over a week, and at best it could make me do something better. It also fits perfectly in my moleskine, as my task section is exactly 13 columns wide. This post concludes my first week. I would just like to say that I have 26 dots for the week, and that gives me about 3.71 dots per day. Not great, but not terrible I guess. that is 3.71 out of 13.

in case you don’t know what i’m talking about yet, I am referring to this post on The Art of Manliness:

In addition, today was the ASULUG Installfest. It was thoroughly awesome, and I can’t wait to get more involved with the club. I was able to help quite a few people from what I remember, but I got quite busy and forgot to eat until 4:30, and then all the food was gone, so I just had chips and water and finally ate at 6:30 when I got home (missed a real breakfast too because nearly everything was closed)…

I also updated my blog somewhat. I added widgets support to this extremely hacked theme. I had some issued at first, but then I realized that I forgot to close my script :P I also re-brushed up on regular expressions, which are amazing and I hope to be alive when google supports regex because then the internet will truly take over the world.

I am at a loss for a quote today, (my other two or three posts didn’t have quotes because I didn’t really write anything, and because I didn’t have a quote) so for today consider that link my quote.

back/arms/shoulders tired from carrying a 50lb desktop, 15” LCD monitor, and my laptop and all the cords and stuff for them 1/2 mile each way to the Installfest. Maybe next time I find a ride with someone. Time for some stretches then bed.
